The best part about the place was my waiter, who provided good service. I would say the food is overpriced for what you get. For example, the chips and salsa they brought out were not homemade. The chips were yellow rounds you could buy in the grocery store and the salsa was pureed tomato with some spices. My guess is they focus more on their drink menu, which is fine but not for me. If you want good Mexican food there are several better options in town.
I like this place. It’s not fancy cuisine, it’s standard fare, reliably consistent. The wait staff are always friendly and prices are low. They have TVs in the bar for watching sports and we love the fajitas and a basketball game.
