Fun place on Christmas Day. Our family likes to try different things for holidays and we ate lunch at Super Buffet on Christmas Day 2014. The restaurant was pleasantly full without being crowded, food was hot and replaced frequently, and the lines weren’t annoyingly long. I had a great Mongolian Grill meal and the rest of the group sampled the buffet. The staff was nice, soda refills were prompt, and all in all, a good experience.

Variety of food and prices. Very good place for lunch or a weeknight dinner. The to-go lunch combos are enormous – easily enough for two or three people, for about $5. If you don’t like seafood don’t go on Sundays, the buffet costs a few dollars more. There is a dessert buffet, sushi, the standard Chinese and American buffet, and a Mongolian grill. One of the hosts is quite snooty but the others are gracious. The waiters are attentive and fast. The hot tea is quite good, a nice floral taste.

I love the intricate wooden carvings they placed next to the tables!. If you like weird foods like frog legs, squid, octopus, etc, this is the place for you! (You don’t have to eat the weird food, there’s plenty of traditional Chinese and American food and also a Mongolian Grill)

Not Worth It. Pros: Free Beer with Buffet after 4pm on Sunday. Good rice.Cons: Everything Else. This is the worst buffet in Fargo. The food was awful, the wait staff was snooty and the prices were awful. They give you a free beer on Sunday evenings, but with the price you pay, it’s hard to call it free. 3 people cost us almost $50 with tip. They served standard Chinese Buffet fare, including your teriyaki dishes, sweet and sour chicken, General Tso’s, etc. They also had a large seafood section, which is probably the reason why the prices are so high, but all of it was awful. The shrimp was rubbery and bland, the chicken was way over-cooked and a piece even had a bone in it, which was a little dis-heartening. The Host was not exactly friendly, and neither was the wait staff, for that matter. I wasn’t able to try out their mongolian grill, but really, if you want that, go to HuHot instead. It’s 5 blocks south and cheaper. Honestly, the only positive thing I can say is their rice was easily the best of the buffets, but really, that is not that much of a compliment. Please save yourself the money and the time and go eat at King House, Fortune House, Peking, or HuHot.
