Doesn’t Communicate. I emailed this restaurant 6 days ago with a few questions. It wasn’t open yet so I couldn’t phone. Today was the day we planned to have food from there but I still haven’t heard from them. Why have an info@ Whiteys email address if you are not going to answer? Needless to say, I will spend my tourist dollar elsewhere.
Whitey’s has officially closed its doors.. As of sometime last week, Whitey’s is no longer open for business. It was sold to new owners last year and they were not able to keep it up and running. The food, both before and after the sale, was so-so, at best, so this is no great loss for the Grand Cities dining scene. The atmosphere of Whitey’s was the best part of the dining experience. The food? meh.
Decent place. Slightly expensive, but pretty good food. Excellent service though! Very friendly & prompt staff!
