NOT BBQ. Wow. we had the driest beef brisket I have ever seen.so dry and chewy , wife didn’t go past two mouth fulls. and done with no spice rub. very bland. kids had buger and chicken wrap. burger had no spice at all. chicken ceaser wrap was 3/4 full of croutons . save your time and money, don’t eat here, real disappointment at a high cost. this place screams bad ownership if this is how they think bbq should be served. bbq is a food that should show ones passion to serve a prime cut of meet that melts in your mouth with flavours that make you go Mmmmmmm. this place strikes out on all three!!!
Very Disappointed. I agree with many of the reviews, the food is very mediocre. Food was very bland and fatty. The PTERODACTYL WINGS were under cooked. No spice and defiantly not a Smoke house. Where’s the smoker? In this world of fast food, we were really looking forward to having some good ole’ smoked meat! But what do you expect with a kitchen ran by kids?I looked back into the kitchen, looking around and these kids were wiping their sweat with their shirts and using their hands to put the food on the plates. This turned me off.We were looking forward to have a Smoke house BBQ place in Grand Forks, but when we can do so much better in our back yard on our own grill and smoker, why bother? It’s cheap food hired by a cheap staff. I’m not trying to be so direct. But my husband and I will never go back toThe server should of noticed that we left 2 plates full of food not eaten.Sorry Wild Hogs, guess the place is only good for a beer and TV.
Fun place for sports games. The Firestickers are a favorite of ours. You only get a few and they dont look great but very tasty. Some of the entrees are hit or miss. Did not care for the fish tacos.
Not BBQ. Portions were quite big but food was mediocre. Certainly not the true BBQ I was hoping for.
Went here shortly after it changed to Wild Hog from Jake’s. It had essentially the same menu as Jake’s, but added some BBQ items. They were out of ribs the night we went…not very impressive that a BBQ restaurant was out of ribs. The food was mediocre, nothing special. It has a nice atmosphere, though. I recently was planning on returning, but after calling I discovered they were once again out of ribs. So, if you’re craving good BBQ items, go at your own risk.
