If I could only eat from one restaurant for the rest of my life…. This would be it. I get delivery from here probably 2 times a week, and it never gets old. I usually get Pad Thai or Massaman Curry, and they are both amazing! They also have varying spiciness, so even if you cant handle Thai spicy(which I will admit still makes my eyes water a bit), you can enjoy it. The delivery times are insane to fathom. The longest I have ever had to wait is an hour, and that’s during rush hour, and I live across town. The staff is also friendly and polite, and make you feel like a valued customer. It goes without saying, this is my favorite place in town.

Newbies here. Liked it a lot.. We had heard of this place from friends but hadn’t tried it for some reason. We are glad we finally did. We had the pad prig king and drunken noodles, and both were excellent! We ate our order as takeout, so I have no comment on sit down service or ambience.
Great Food!!. Ate at Baan Rao at noon on Feb 14. The sweet and sour shrimp was great. My dinner guest had the Cashew Chicken-Great. Great service, great food, very nice portions, reasonable pricing. 1 of Minot’s dining secretes. I will def. be back!! Heat levels vary from mild, med., hot, very hot. We had the med. but will go hot next time. Rated the experience a 9.9.
So long as you can overlook the mish-mash decor, you’ll find friendly service and some tasty fare. You have to get the tea along with your entre; a real treat. I feel like the level of spice varies every time I go, even though I consistently ask for the same thing. A nice change of pace from the typical Midwestern meat-and-potatoes joints.
Great food. I not a huge fan of chain restaurants. So I tend to look for those family/crowd goes wild type. The service is a little slow, but you have to gve into the fact that food is made fresh. If its busy then it will take longer. The food is very good, you can tell its fresh and it hasnt been sitting there all day. Tho you have wait for your food, it is well wroth your time. You get alot of food for the price you pay. The prices are very decent too.
Delicious Thai. People do not go to Baan Rao for the atmosphere, they go for the fantastic food. They serve delicious, authentic Thai food and drinks. We like to start our meal with one or two of their appetizers, usually the fried spring rolls and dumplings. The appetizers come out quickly and are served with appropriate dipping sauces. When you order your food you have the option of choosing your spice level, mild to thai hot. Thai hot is incredibly hot, the kind that makes your head sweat and your eyes water. I usually go for medium and my husband chooses hot. I have a tendency to always order the Pad Thai because it is my standby favorite, but my husband loves the Pad Prig. They have a prawn soup dish that is excellent as well. The food can take a while to arrive, sometimes not all together. I chalk that up to each dish being specially made to order and not from some premix concoction as you’d find at chain restaurants. The servers that I have had are incredibly nice, though busy. They are always ready to explain each dish if you have questions. The prices are reasonable, you’ll generally spend around $12 per dish. They also offer food to-go.
