Terribly run restaurant.. I visited this restaurant Monday for lunch. The first thing I noticed was the host running from the podium to the register while the manager on duty seemed to be chatting with her friends. When I was finally sat, the server seemed very overwhelmed, but nice. Overall, the food was fine, but that restaurant really needs some better management. It would seriously help a lot.

When I was finally sat, the server seemed very overwhelmed, but nice. Overall, the food was fine, but that restaurant really needs some better management. It would seriously help a lot.
I dined here today and was not satisfied. An alum back in town to visit with friends, we chose to have breakfast here. The server took 5 minutes to acknowledge us and take our drink order. It was a bit busy, but she didn’t seem to have too many tables. I wasn’t asked if I wanted a refill until after we were ready to leave. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience. The servers all seemed miserable and didn’t really seem to smile or care about quality service. I feel as though going to an actual farm would have been more enjoyable then this visit. They need a better service staff. Also, the flavor of the food at Bob Evans has significantly changed for the worst, it was bland. Not sure if I will dine at BE again any time soon, definitely not the one in Athens, Ohio.
My wife an I enjoyed a nice breakfast an great service from Chaz or Charles S. Hope they keep him around!06 Nov, 2012After a long night at the ER with a sick child an finally made it home at 3 a.m. I had to be up early for rest of family an also turn in med scripts, was told it was an hour wait. Went to Bob Evans an received excellent service from waiter named Joseph K. His work ethic in providing good service to me an others around me made me smile. Hope he stays working there, I will definitely bring the family when he is working.
Best place for breakfast in Athens other that Home! Try the Homestead breakfast.
