How does this place stay open?. It makes one wonder how this place can provide such awful food (it’s either under cooked or burned) and yet be so snooty. The staff and management just doesn’t care what anyone thinks or wants. How do they remain open? I walk by it maybe 20 times a week and it’s 90% empty most of the time.
I go there on a semi regular basis. There is a wide variety of bar food offered, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the bar staff can make whatever you’d like. The food can be a little slow on busy days, but it is worth the wait, and the wait for food at broney’s is nothing compared to the other restaurants in town. Tl;dr broneys is a great place to eat, drink, and hang out.

Bad, very bad. One of the worst dining experiences ever. This restaurant very poorly managed. There was not enough wait staff to handle how many people were in the restaurant. After finally getting someone to take our order, it took 90 minutes for the food to come out. We asked to speak to the manager and he was unapologetic and rude. Avoid at all costs. There are other much better restaurants in Athens.
Meh. The service is slow and the food is just ok. Not really worth the wait. Someone at our table’s order didnt come out with everyone else’s food and when she asked when her food would come out, the waitress replied oh whoops, I just need to get it out of the microwave.. hmmmm.
Best Chicken Wings I have EVER HAD !. Was at Broney’s with daughter on Saturday. I have had many wings at other restaurants including BW3 but these were the BEST !Will be a must stop place whenever in Athens, Ohio
Grilled Chicken. I have had a burger there before it was pretty good. The best thing I have had there though is a BBQ grilled chicken was so good. And fries are pretty nice as well…
