A simple restaurant that will not fail to give you a warm (almost) authentic chinese cuisine experience. Delicious food, extremely good and warm service. Luckily, the dinner was hosted by my Chinese friends and they also helped me choose the food. Once the food came we ate it in Asian style where all share every dish instead of just eating what they ordered. The dumplings, chicken, tofu, egg and spring onion, spinach and tofu skin (I forget the original names of the dishes) were all excellent. For desserts, we had Chinese doughnuts which was a simple dessert that was fried to perfection. A nice evening that I will remember for a long time.
Very bad experience. DISAPPOINTED!!!. HiI had dinner at Dynasty last night and ordered cilantro chicken. It was very very salty and was inedible. I mentioned it to the waiter and she didn’t even apologize and later she talked to the manager about it. The manager just didn’t care at all and didn’t say a single word of Sorry. I was so disappointed with their service. Later while paying the bill the manager demanded the tip for such a bad service and said there will be no service for you next time if you don’t pay the tip. I am not going there in future anyway. BAD BAD SERVICE!!!

Eh…. We’ve eaten at Dynasty a handful of times and always had an ok experience. Tonight was a major disappointment, though. Though the veggies in our dishes were crisp and fresh and the lo mein wasn’t greasy, the rest of our meal left a lot to be desired. I expect some variation from one Chinese restaurant to another, the schezuan chicken and kung pao chicken both tasted nothing like one would expect such a dish to taste. The service was also lousy (we waited nearly ten minutes for boxes/check even thought the restaurant wasn’t busy) AND our fortune cookies were so soggy/stale our kids wouldn’t even eat them. Needless to say we wont be back any time soon.
Got take out the other night. Food was cold and bland. Disappointed. Eaten there a few other times, enjoyed it in-house. Will give it one more chance.
Why did it take so long?. I’ve now left Athens. Before Dynasty opened, China Fortune was my place. One Dynasty opened, I think I ate there once a week. Always got steamed dumplings and a small order of their boneless spare ribs. Both were usually good (though every once in a while the boneless ribs would be a bit too fatty). One of the best things — No use of MSG for those of us who are allergic to it. Even if you are a China Fortune fan, you should give Dynasty a try (though you might want to bring a pair of earplugs late on friday or saturday — the Karaoke in the large back room can be quite loud, and the singers quite poor (I can’t sing either)).
