Ate here for lunch. Sandwich was over-toasted, and there was so much mustard on it that I couldn’t taste anything else. Cannoli was overly soft. I will try again in the future, but only when I am already uptown & hankering for this type of food. Village Bakery is far superior. This restaurant is currently a bit full of themselves, and it is showing.

Simply amazing!. I do not eat dairy or eggs; simply put that means, as one can imagine, that I have a pretty difficult time finding pastries, cakes, or sinful delicacies upon which to treat myself. Fluff bakery not only provides me with essentially the only uptown Athens option to for these indulgences, they exceed the standard that I have set for my own preferences in taste a million fold. They didn’t just offer me an amazing selection of vegan treats, but they put me in touch with a local baker/pastry chef which can provide me the alternative desserts I can love when I do not have the time to make them myself. The staff was amazing- more than amazing, phenomenal. They were friendly and did not just write me off as a crazy for asking about dairy/egg free treats. As a matter of fact, we spoke at respectable length rather warmly over some coffee on the subject. I will be returning and getting more! This place is simply heaven for my sweet tooth! (And the prices are perfect!!!)

Awful cupcake. My husband and I stopped in here for an afternoon snack while visiting Athens last week. We were aghast at the price for a single cupcake ($4.25? really?), which was more than we’d paid for a cupcake anywhere, including NYC and Paris. We like supporting local businesses, tho, and we were on vacation, so we purchased a chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting. I’m sorry to say that it was one of the worst cupcakes I’ve ever had. It was very dense, and cold, and dry, and not at all flavorful. The frosting was also dense and thick, but not in a nice, fudgy way. It was just gross. We didn’t even finish it. I’ll throw in a single star because they carry Jeni’s ice cream. I regularly spend $12/pint for Jeni’s, so I’m used to paying for quality ice cream, but the Jeni’s terrine slice we had was incredibly tiny for what it cost. Very disappointed.

Wonderful addition to Court St. The folks at Fluff have an obvious passion for what they do. The sweet treats are amazing plus there is a good selection so that vegans and gluten-free people have choices, too. Fluff also has yummy lunch offerings: sandwiches, soups, and create-your-own rice bowls. They source as many ingredients locally as possible. When you visit the staff is friendly and helpful, the owners are always there and are darling as can be. Fluff exemplifies what I love about living in Athens.

Fluff is the stuff!. Since recently moving to Athens, I’ve been searching for the best restaurants, bakeries, pizza shops, and bars and pubs that this little place has to offer. Walking around the other day with my roommate, we ran into Fluff, the cutest little bakery. Of course, having a giant sweet tooth and a fondness for baking, I had to stop in.The girl behind the counter greeted us with a smile as we drooled at the site of the variety of cakes and pastries in the glass cases. While it was tough to choose, I decided to go with the fudge brownie and the giant macaroon. Pure deliciousness. The brownie was incredibly rich and moist and covered with a velvety chocolate ganache. The macaroon was fluffy and coconutty and drizzled with rich chocolate. Served with a cup of coffee and I was in heaven.I hear that Fluff also serves lunch like pretzel sandwiches, salads, and other dishes that sound very tempting. Personally, I am excited to try the house-made Curry that’s served with naan bread. Although I’ve only been here once and have tried just 2 desserts, I can say that I will definitely be back to try more. I may have just found my new favorite bakery!
