TEMPEST. I ended school at OU 5 years ago and no joke I still crave/think about ordering a tempest and chili cheese fries at 2am, sitting on the curb and chowing down!!! I am kinda obsessed with hotdogs and since leaving OU, I CANNOT find anything close to O’betty’s! I am tempted to make the drive back to OU strictly for the tempest! If you go to OU and don’t go to O’betty’s, you are just plain crazy!

Hearts to this place. I adore o’betty’s! It is one of the few places where I worked in the past and continue to visit as a customer. Bob is creative and wonderful. I love that they cater to vegans. I love the atmosphere and concept in general. Best fries in town!This is a real gem in Athens.

One of my favorites of Athens. I love nothing more when I’m drunk. I make the trot up to Betty’s and get an amazing hot dog and never get a hangover.. I swear its the remedy! I have NEVER been disappointed with the quality here (even when sober) and I am not at all a fan of hot dogs… (or burlesque crap for that matter) but these are different! They don’t taste processed or fake! I just ignore the theme of the place and love it for the food.
Hands down the best place to eat late night in Athens. You haven’t had a dog until you’ve eaten here. Anything you could imagine, from straight up cloves of garlic to classic chili, you can have on your god-like weiner. They provide veggie dogs too, which are amazing as well.
