When I first arrived at Texas Roadhouse, I was already aware of the processes which occur in this restaurant because I have eaten there many times. Walk in, request a seat, usually wait because they are so busy, then sit down to eat. I went on a Monday around 5:30 pm with three other people and we had no wait at all, which was nice. We were led to our table by our smiling waitress who immediately took our drink orders as soon as we sat down and provided us with our rolls to enjoy. I ordered a side Caesar salad and sirloin with grilled shrimp and mashed potatoes. My steak was incredibly tasteful and so was my shrimp, and being a huge fan of both of those things, I was incredibly satisfied. My experience at this Texas Roadhouse was great and so were the prices. My overall total including tax was somewhere around $18, which I think is a steal considering how delicious my meal was. Though I was pleased in my actual sit down portion, I had asked for rolls to go (my waitress surprisingly gave me two dozen rolls) and wasnt given any butter. That was disappointing, but the rolls alone are so delicious I honestly wasnt really bothered in the days past that I ate them. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Athens, Ohio area because you will always be pleased with what you get!

This spot is perfect when you want something close to a home cooked meal. You can get anything from shrimp to burgers and fries. It fits many palettes, ensuring everyone in your group can find something to eat here. I would not say they have the freshest food. This could because they offer reasonable prices for things that could charge way more. It seemed like the chicken breast I had was frozen in a package but this did not necessarily take away from the taste of it. Maybe if I ordered what they are known for, steaks it would have been more fresh. P.S. stay away from the rolls, they will entice you to ask to some home!
