Thai Paradise use to be one the best restaurants in town, but it has changed management and Bo is gone and so is Thai Paradise’s superb service. I normally get my Friday lunch here but today and last week the right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. I had ordered the spicy eggplant and it use to be firm baby eggplants cooked gently so it was still firm and crisp with the lovely flavor of Thai basil but not today, it is soggy, no Thai basil and no crispness. The wonton soup is extremely salty. Crappy lunches get crappy reviews!! Where is the old manager, Bo?Old review was A 5.0: Every dish I have tried from Pad Thai (you choice of protein) to Spicy Eggplant is delicious. The service is superb and friendly. I eat out twice a week and Thai Paradise is the one I frequent weekly!

Service has been great almost every time and I always leave satisfied and (extremely) full thanks to the large portion sizes. I love that the menu is dairy-free, pescatarian, and vegan friendly with plenty of choices and spicy dishes.
As a newcomer to Athens, I was told that this restaurant is a staple to any local foodie’s diet and I can certainly understand why. The location is nice, as it’s not on Court street amid the frequent chaos but it’s also a five minute walk from Uptown. You’ll get seated quickly, and the menu is very thorough. As a noodle enthusiast, I always order from that section of the menu but everything is tasty. If you’re a spice fiend then you can ask for 10-star spice (the hottest advertised is 5-star). Good spot, good food, great environment, great wait staff. Solid choice on all fronts.
Absolutely love Thai Paradise. Customer service is not always the greatest, but the food is consistently delicious and I try something new every time. Plenty of options that are dairy free and pescatarian friendly.
Mostly yummy but also kind of gross. I ordered the curry pad thai which was delicious. It was not too spice but was very flavorful. I also ordered the chicken dumplings which came out almost entirely raw. They were replaced with more undercooked dumplings. Im not sure what the problem was, maybe there was problem with the deep fryer? But there was no real effort to fix the problem on the staffs part and I was charged for the undercooked dumplings. Seems like something that could have been easily fixed by simply not charging for them. I’m not sure I will be going back, although I really really liked the pad thai.
Excellent quality, excellent service. My wife and I were able to get an appetizer, soup, salad, and entrees for right around $20, which is amazing on its own. Portion sizes are generous. Overall, wonderful new addition to Athens.
Awesome!. My family an I tried Thai Paradise for the first time tonight and the food an service were great. Nice portions an best Crab Ragoon I have had. The owner was very nice a jovial.
