Cheap food. Location and cost makes this popular…..especially with those that have (or are working on) a hangover. It is what it is – cheap food. I think Union Street Diner wants to be a Denny’s when it grows up, but don’t get your hopes up. Don’t drive and plan on parking a car – stumble in business only.

Some nice workers, some lazy…didn’t get checked on until we were done eating. Food is definitely cheap, but if you care about quality and atmosphere, go elsewhere and pay more money for a great meal. Could have made a better breakfast at home.
Heaven in bite-sized form. Let’s be honest, stumbling home from the bars at 6am necessitates some sort of munchies. Union Street Diner is the perfect place for this, with your choice of fried and wonderful diner classics. The one thing that puts the USD above all other diners I have been fortunate enough to experience are the Macaroni and Cheese Bites. Imagine this: creamy mac and cheese lightly fried into triangles and served piping hot with a side of ranch. Take one bite and it’s like Jesus tap dancing on your tongue. The extended weekend hours are also a great positive of this diner. Nothing wraps up a great night out better than gathering with your friends around a table to loudly regal your stories of the night and be obnoxious in general. I love this place very much and would recommend it to everyone. The food is just as delicious when not slightly intoxicated, which seals the deal for me.
