Excellent. The food here is superb. You can always tell that they use the freshest ingredients possible. I’ve tried a number of the dishes on the menu, but my favorites are the Amish chicken with homemade gnocchi (the chicken always perfectly moist; the gnocchi light as air, as it should be) and the East/West Filet Mignon duet (two petite filets cooked in contrasting styles while using variations on the same ingredients–superb). I’m not usually a big meat eater, but the meat options here are so delectable that I can’t help it. Also, this is probably the best place to get a well-made cocktail in Athens. The other bars uptown seem to be strictly for beer and mixers only; here, you can get a perfect martini, or choose from their excellent wine list. Some reviews have called this place expensive; it’s really not, especially for the quality. Maybe by Athens standards, but if this restaurant were anywhere else, you’d be paying double for dishes this quality. I recommend it, especially for a special occasion. It seems like you can usually get in without a reservation on the weekdays, but I’d make one if you want to go on Friday or Saturday.

So nice. My parties and I have never been disappointed and the chef is willing to alter dishes to meet my daughter’s gluten intolerance. It’s a winner.
