Happy hour?. I recently rushed to make happy hour which ends at 6 (of which most working people can not make). I got there with two minutes to spare according to my phone, and the bartender said that the system had already changed to the non-happy hour pricing. If you are going to have a happy hour, make it one that working people can make it to! Parker’s has more of an unhappy hour…
WOW!!!!!!!. Just left Parkers. Great service, great food and wonderful location!!!! Don’t miss this place. This is now our favorite place and…………………….you MUST try the prime rib. Best I have ever had!!!! DLee
Service will keep me away. If you do go, get a steak. Sit at the bar.. Came for mother’s day because we could not get in anywhere else. We ordered everything on the menu including 2 cowboy steaks ($35 each) with an added caesar salad to both ($4 each), pan fried walleye ($18), grilled chicken with french fries, mac n cheese, creamed corn, smashed potatoes, and key lime pie for dessert. Bottom line, we tried everything from cold to hot, from meat to fish, and all were…okay. The steak, I’ll admit, was the best item served. It was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Everything else though, was just a bit off. Salads arrived HUGE! You could not believe the size for $4! But lack of dressing made it less than pleasant (unless you are a rabbit, wink.) Asking 3 times for additional dressing, got me no where. The mac n cheese looked amazing, but it, like the creamed corn, was in great need of salt. I can get through all of this (after all, I had a trusty salt shaker) had it not been for our terrible server. He took our order and then never checked in on us, and our table of 6 was in great need of refills regularly. He was rude and actually told me not to take home my left over fries because they would not heat well, then rolled his eyes when I told him we would like to take them anyway. With a little attention to seasoning, this place could be a gem…but servers like this one will not have customers returning any time soon.

Great atmosphere and food – something for everyone! Filet is always cooked to perfection – one of my new favorite places to go.
I frequent Parker’s for dinner with my girlfriends and I have nothing but the best of things to say about this place. The food is always consistent, there is something on the menu for everyone, the beer and wine list is very impressive for the likes of Avon Lake, the service has always been spot on, and the atmosphere can’t be beat! You can get artichoke dip just about anywhere but here there is a flavor that is just delightful and the pita bread it’s served with is a perfect fit! I have eaten everything from a burger to the pork chop to the prime rib to salmon and not one of these dishes has missed the mark. The soup of the day has always been a hit and I always look forward to see what the chef has up his sleeve the next time I come in. What these new owners have done with this space is what is needed in our community and I look forward to eating here for years to come. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep coming to eat and support you!
