Best experience EVER!!!! I’m rich!!! (read description) :-). I was hungry as ever on a lonely Sunday night when I decided to give this cracking place a try. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with elegant service from a brown-haired bearded man and was quickly served with my favorite foods: a large meat-lover’s pizza (I think the bearded man said it was called a bomb or something), a two liter and fountain drink combo of mountain dew (I love the soda, so I must have it in its bottled and tap form). After devouring everything on the table, I was met near the bathrooms by an intimidating but extremely friendly man. He told me that he had four winning lottery tickets and would give them to me if I bought him the same meal that I just inhaled. Looking into my wallet I noticed that I only had $32.47 left, which was just enough for his request. I bought his meal (I added a cookie on as well) and he handed over what was the best gift I have ever received in my 56 years. $4,500 in lottery tickets! This place is the best ever. I don’t know if the strange man is an employee who offers the service to everyone he meets near the restrooms but I would definitely recommend this little pizza shop to anyone!
Skip this place.. This is one of worst pizzas I’ve had since moving to the Dayton area. Almost no sauce, plastic texture cheese, grocery store peperoni, and frozen pizza quality. Their appetizers are basically rehashed pizza dough in uninspired combinations. Premade salads that are more than likely purchased from a GFS. I would advise skipping this place and trying somewhere else for pizza.
Really tasty pizza at an awesome price. We always take advantage of their specials. I love NYC style pizza and this place nails it. Let me just say this: We got two medium pizzas for our family of 4 yesterday and we were fighting over who got the last slice. My only problem with this place is that I really want to eat a whole pizza by myself. It is that good.
I must have picked the wrong day to try it?! The crust was burnt, grease all over the cheese and didn’t see a drop of sauce! Didn’t taste like the New York pizzas I’ve had (was just there in May). I couldn’t even finish my 2nd piece it was so bad. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Staff was nice at least that was good!
Would have liked to try it but as soon as we walked in the door we were told that the tables were all reserved for a party of 35. We were offered a high top table but we have three children under 5 so that wasn’t possible. Probably won’t go back…
Killer. Everyone is raving about the pizza, and while the pizza is good – the sandwiches are better. The meatball sub is the best I’ve ever had, and the Italian Mobster is awesome too. Highly recommend The Dive.
Forget the chain restraurants. Stopped by for the first time on a Monday. They had an ALL YOU CAN EAT for $7!! Included salad, bread bits and pretzel bits. Great pizza! Multiple kinds-cheesesteak, cheeseburger(ketchup and mustard) and more. My favorite-BLT! Highly recommend.
