Fantastic food, people and service. My wife and I have been planning on coming here for some time and it was well worth it. Very authentic food.
Food Quality IIs VERY Good. From the outside CG&D doesn’t look like much. And from the inside it’s not much better. So surprise that the Greek food is 1 authentic, and two excellent quality. And the staff is energetic and friendly.Did not try the hot dogs, why would you when their is Greek food in Beavercreek. But the dogs did look good.Their is also an Italian beef, and sausage, so the menu does have some variety.Highly recommended for a quick and economical meal that is good quality.Art
This place really offers Chicago style Gyros and dogs, it’s not just a name. I’ve eaten gyros all over Dayton and this is the first place that I’ve found that knows how to make tzatziki sauce the right way. It’s creamy and not watery, but that’s not the best part…they don’t use pre-cut meat slices like everyone else, they chop the meat right there off of a chunk imported from Chicago…the dogs are made right and also imported from Chicago. Any foodie would have a great lunch here if you like gyros or dogs
Wouldnt serve me!. Well the door was open but wen I walked in; the cashier said We clised a few minutes ago SO sorry that you couldnt either take the time to lick your front door or perhaps please a new guest by saying We just closed but what would you like?Too bad; wont attempt again!
Hours?. I went there to try it for first time, as a fan of Greek. Stopped there at 6:30 on Sunday and they refused entrance at the door because they just closed. OK, so I know they can set their own hours and I should have checked before, but who closes a restaurant at 6:30 PM??? They said come back next day – I had to drive 20 minutes.
Diner. This place was so good when it was a little hole in the wall up off Shroyer, went to the new location last night, service was terrible, no napkins out, buns were hard and there was not hardly any chili sauce but what was there was absolutely uninspired. I may give it one more chance but I was with another former Shroyer fan and we both agreed.
Gyros are so so…..Hotdogs….Hell Yeah!!!. Meh. The Gyros were so-so. The meat was chopped up, greasy and a bit too salty. Compared to Gyro Palace, their meat is cooked and sliced at the same time. But their hotdogs on the other hand are great!
