I wrote a huge comment on their page explaining the need for alternatives to the overwhelming amount of icing… apparently nothing is getting through. I understand stay true to your brand and all of that, but you are missing out on a ton of people who enjoy the cupcakes just not all the icing. Its a shame really, because most of us refuse to spend this amount of money for a cupcake which most of will go in the trash… I love the cupcake overall but its just ridiculous on their part to not offer another option for the icing after reading review after review. I even have a gift card to gigis and won’t use it because I dont want to deal with the hastle of the cupcakes… so for now to ele I go!!!
Over priced for sure. I used to live in NYC and half the cupcake stores were half the price and twice as good. Not saying the quality wasn’t there but still to much to pay for a cupcake.
It took me three days to eat the frosting off of one cupcake. Enough said.
Good. The cupcakes are so pretty and they have unique favors. I always share my cupcake with someone, the price it not that bad at $3.25. You can tell from looking at the cupcakes, they have alot of icing. If you loved icing this place is for you. Thanks for reading my review.
No thanks. I’m a dessert person, but I’d rather have just about anything other than a Gigi’s cupcake. I know they are known for their crazy amounts of frosting but it’s just too much. That and the actual cake itself isn’t that great.
Some cities that have Gigi’s are goof and some are bad. Sorry Dayton Gigi’s, you failed. Someone thought it was a smart it was a great idea to increase the sugar in the icing recipe. Instead of being a delight, they taste like an unrecognized goo of sugar.
Yummy Goodness!. The mass amount of frosting is probably the only downside of these cupcakes! The cakes were moist and flavorful! My favorite is the Champagne, so sweet and delicious!
