Walked in and waited on a hostess to seat me while about 6 waiters/waitresses were huddled around the podium dealing with a customer complaint and trying to get a manager. More customers walk in behind me. An employee finally comes over and starts helping them while totally ignoring me as Im still standing there right in front of her. I just left. How rude! Im here visiting from out of state on business and have a bad taste in my mouth now for the customer service or lack thereof in Ohio (this is not my first bad customer service experience in my 3 days here so far).
Hickory Inn, Texas Roadhouse is better. Weak drinks, mediocre steaks. If you live in Beavercreek or Fairborn, the Hickory Inn near downtown Springfield is worth the drive for steak or ribs.
Love it. Love this place. Consistently great steak – a bit of a wait all the time, but I figure it just means people love the food. Once had an experience w/steak not cooked properly – staff took care of it w/courtesy and speed.
If you’re going to go chain this is it. Well sadly there are not too many lunch options for steak in Dayton, but if you have to go with a chain then Longhorn is it. In 15 years of going to different Longhorn locations, I have never ever had a bad meal there and the service is always good. Get the steakhouse mac N cheese while it lasts its is nothing short of AWESOME
