Walking in you are greeted by friendly staff and the decor is elegant. The ambiance is vibrant with a good bar, lots of seats and a couple of huge slow turning ceiling fans. This place is always packed and it helps that they have a good outside patio with a lot of seating. They have many sandwich options ganging from cheesesteaks to gyros to chicken to simple cheese sandwiches. They also have vegetarian and vegan options for all their sandwiches which is rare for this area. All sandwiches can be ordered in full or half sizes. We ordered the Gyro and the Cheesesteak and they were served with either kettle chips or fries. The sandwiches are made with texas toast breads a you could clearly see the melted cheese oozing from them. I have to say both the sandwiches tasted really good and a half portion size was enough to fill us up. Our server was super friendly and checked in with us often. In all the sandwiches were tasty and well made. But somehow I feel the sandwiches needed more meat on them and the full size sandwiches priced from $12.50 to $15.50 are on the higher end for price compared to similar places close by. For that price range I was somehow expecting more meat on my sandwiches and free customizations. I would definitely recommend this place for a really good full bar, for good sandwiches, great ambiance, good patio and good staff.
Huge sandwiches and a wide variety of grilled cheeses. I love how unique melt is! I ordered the TMNT inspired sandwich with macaroni and cheese bites. The TMNT was filled with cheese, sauce, tomatoes, onions and pizza rolls. It was delicious and would have been perfect with warm soup. The Mac n cheese bites are not bite-sized. They are pretty big patties, and they are just okay in flavor. My friend ordered the cowboy salad, and it was gigantic! Id highly recommend Melt to anyone. It is a little pricy, but its still worth a try.
