Just had a super meal. We were seated right away and had prompt attentive service. I started with Shomali (yum) and had the sashimi dinner. My companions started with tuna sashimi and finished with hibachi chicken. All was excellent.
I went here for dinner, and waited over an hour in front of a grill. The waiter we had was too concerned with the female waitresses around him than refilling our glasses or bringing salads or soup. The chef was funny and entertaining, the food and service was not worth the wait or price.
I had two specialty rolls, an appetizer, two drinks and udon and it only cost $40.00. The beauty and the beast roll is delicious and the staff is very friendly. They also have many daily specials ranging from 1-7$.
Meal was served quickly and before 6pm the early bird special was 2/3 price. Spicy California roll & cucumber roll were very good and gyoza was excellent!
My wife and I took our two-year old niece for lunch today and had a terrific time. Our wait for a table was short, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. This was a great place that provided entertainment as well as a reasonably priced lunch. We both had the steak and chicken hibachi lunch and were not disappointed. The sauces were great and the chef was engaging and kept my niece spellbound. We will have to return for an adults-only time and enjoy cocktails and sushi along with dinner next time. I am a fan of Osaka in Beavercreek.
Allergy problems. My wife and myself went to Osaka Japanese Steakhouse in Beavercreek, Ohio on 6/27/2012. We ordered some sushi and Japanese noodles. When the noodles came to the table they had mushrooms in them. My wife has an allergy to Mushrooms and they where not listed in the menu. Also, we have had this entree numerous time without this issue. We told the waitress about the mushrooms and she stated she would talk to her manager. She soon came back and stated we would have to pay for another entree along with the one we where given. We asked to speak to the manager. When he arrived at our table he stated they give there cooks the right to put what ever they want in the food and they don’t list all the ingredients in menu. He said it was our fault for not stating the allergy. We informed him that all the ingredients need to be listed so people don’t have a reaction. He acted like he didn’t care. We paid our bill and left. My wife has the potential to stop breathing with this allergy. We are not the type of people to complain or send anything back. But they disregarded us as a customer and we will not be going back.
Sashimi was delicious, fresh, and gorgeously presented. Service is top-notch, whether dining for two up front or in a huge party in the hibachi area. We are always made to feel welcome!
