Surly. Food’s not bad; don’t care for the owners, though.
Sukiyaki. It was a dish that I like very much well I lived in Japan
I love Ando!!! It is so authentic and amazing. The fish is so fresh, and prices are reasonable. Can’t wait to return!!
Amazing Restaurant. I heard about this restaurant from a co-worker and finally went there yesterday. Very sorry I had not gone before. This is, by far, the best Japanese food in this area. The sushi and sashimi fish tasted like they just came out of the ocean. Extremely fresh, no fishy odor or taste whatsoever. We had over 10 different kinds of fish, along with tamago (egg omelet) and every example was top of the line. Even though they do not have a liquor license, they made it clear that they encourage the BYOB philosophy which is actually great since we are very selective about our sake brands and can therefore have whatever we want. To top things off, their dessert special was a pineapple/green tea panna cotta that was so good we ordered a second. The prices are slightly higher than a couple of other Japanese restaurants around but the different in quality makes the cost worthwhile. We will definitely be making Ando our choice for Japanese in the future.
Wonderful. Food is very, very good. A cut above other Japanese restaurants.
Grest lunch spot. Food is great and the service is spot on.
Real deal authentic japanese sushi. If you want mayonnaise sushi drive on by. This is the real deal. The bonito shavings which undulate in the steam is an old trick. If you don’t appreciate that, perhaps you should stick to Kroger! The uni (sea urchin) is terrific. For me, that’s what defines a great sushi bar.
