Good For Lunch. I’ve never been for Dinner but their Lunch specials are very good. Price is reasonable and I’ve never had a complaint about the food. Atmosphere is always quiet and service is fairly quick. I would recommend.
Food and Service Disappointing. Came to try a new Japanese Steakhouse and I cannot begin to tell you how let down we were…but then again this is in a strip mall. Ordered a diet coke and it had a foul odor and taste. They replaced it with a diet dew and it was bad as well…I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and my wife ordered the Udon Chicken Noodle Soup, My vegetables and sauce were very tasty, but the chicken was way over cooked on one side, which left it crunchy and really, really dry. My wife’s Udon noodle was basically broth, some overcooked chicken and noodles, no veggies. When our server came over, I told her that I liked the veggies and sauce but the meat was over cooked…get ready for the response…That’s how we cook it and she then turned and pointed to another patron and said he had the same dish and loved it. Hummm,I could care less about the other patron, I have no idea if his meat is over cooked, but mine is. First rule in the foodservice business is to please your customer. You should have said…sorry sir, but that is how we cook it, is there something else I can get you. Instead you insulted me! Check Please…do yourselves a favor…don’t waste your time here, prices are too high for what you get, there are better choices…go to Koyoto on Montgomery Road and see how it’s done
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was here with my wife for our anniversary dinner. We sat at the hibachi table. I ordered filet and shrimp and my wife ordered sushi. The chef overcooked filet. Also, by the time he finished giving fried rice to other people, I got the least amount. He was not very interactive with the guests. The only reason we came to hibachi restaurant was to be entertained by the chef. My wife’s sushi was mediocre at best. The fish was not very fresh. You could tell because they put so much spicy mayo on the roll to cover up for the lack of freshness. I usually don’t write reviews for restaurants but I had to for this restaurant. The management did nothing for me when I complained except a small discount. I’m sorry but I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I would recommend Geisha in West Chester.
Yum yum. Food is great & Staff is awesome! The sushi is fresh and flavorful. Prices are reasonable and they have great lunch specials. Hibachi is excellent as well and not as pricey as their competitors.
Great Sushi & Hibachi. My friend Tim intro’d me to KanPai I love trying new restaurants especially Japanese. I love the Hibachi Steak and Chicken!!! I highly recommend this restaurant even to the people who have never tried Sushi or don’t like it. I love it from here!
Great sushi!. I always have a great experience here. Wonderful staff that are more than happy to share their wealth of knowledge about all things sushi. Be sure to ask about chef specialties that may not be on the menu!
Great sushi. My wifes favorite in the Cincinnati area yet. Smaller place but we have been there twice and ordered different food but same great result.
