Must try!!!!. I had the andouille cheese grits today for lunch along with the corn bread and sweet potato pie and it was by far the best tasting lunch I’ve had since coming home. I live in the South now and I’m not a huge fan of grits, due to the grits I’ve had always tasting to crunchy, and gritty for that matter, and today at lunch my entire view on grits was changed. They were very creamy with a nice smooth texture. The corn bread was also amazing and the pie was delicious as well. I’m very particular on the pie crust that I like and the crust on this pie was nice and soft like a cookie. If the food truck is ever in your area make sure to stop by! The food is delicious and the people are very nice!
If the New Orleans to Go to go food truck is anywhere in your area, drive, run, walk, bike, but get there. We had the best po’boys on the planet today at the Pottery Fair. Mine was catfish, fried light and crispy, and dressed with this honey and hot and spicy glaze. My eyes watered. My nose ran. My lips tingled. It was so damn good. We also had the fabulous fries. We were supposed to split them, but I think my sister would have cut me if I’d taken another one. Then there was the Creole potato salad. I’ve been eating potato salad my whole like, since it was always a part of Sunday dinner, picnics, parties, and I’ve never had anything like this potato salad. I tried to find a way to discreetly lick the cup in came in for the very last morsel of flavor. And the sweet potato pie with caramel sauce. I was sure my long passed Grandmama was in there cooking when I tasted the sweet potato pie. Lot’s of people make sweet potato pies. Few make them right. I’m ordering a whole pie the next time we have something. And this was just what she was cooking on the truck. I can’t wait to get to the restaurant. There’s just no other food like this in Cincinnati, period.
Guess Im none too smart…. I visited the 10921 Reed Hartman suite 221 location 12/11/13 around 11:30 am for lunch. The door was locked and no lights on. Disappointed fer sure.
I drive from NKY just to go to NOTG some of the best food Ive had at a restaurant. The Po Boys are the best around and the desserts are the BOMB!!!
YUM!. NOTG’s Po’boys are amazing. They are so good that when a shrimp fell out of my po’boy I pushed my dogs out of the way so I could grab it back.
WOW. I just got back from a vacation in Florida, and the oysters at New Orleans to Go were better than any seafood I had on my vacation. They were really fresh and perfectly cooked. When we got there, we found out that they only had seafood today, and one of my friends doesn’t eat seafood, so they made her a portabella po boy, which was also really good. I did get her to try an oyster, and she loved it, so they may have converted her to eating seafood! The owners were really friendly and helpful, and the bread pudding with the bourbon glaze is perfect.
Great one day, disapointing the next. Their food truck came to my work location on Friday last week and I was able to try their Shrimp Po’boy, Gumbo and sweet potato Fries. All extremely good; the seasoning on the shrimp was good, there was a sweet sauce on the Po’Boy that was delicious, the sweet potato fries were covered in cinnamon and apple butter, and the gumbo had the perfect flavor and heat. The po’boy was small, but I was told that when you visited their restuarant that it was a full size sandwich.I went today to their physical location and got the voodoo meatball po’boy and the gumbo. The gumbo again was excellent; nothing bad to be said there. The meatball po’boy on the other hand was the same small size, lacked flavor and over-priced.I hope this changes.
