I’m typically not one to frequent chain restaurants and even less so a place that emphasizes smoothies in its name. But we were quite pleasantly surprised upon our first visit to Tropical Smoothie Caf last weekend.In addition to smoothies, the caf offers a fairly extensive line of sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps, tacos and rice/quinoa bowls. I tried three tacos: the Korean BBQSteak, Thai Chili steak and the Cilantro Lime Fish. All were quite tasty, exhibiting bright and spicy flavors. We will definitely be back. cincinnatibites.com
