Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! Love this place and will definitely be back. Had the chicken and beef shawarma. Both great choices! Many places to choose to sit, from the patio to the sofa chairs to the high top tables you can find a great place to eat or study.

Eclectic and wonderful.. If one googles cafe havana you’ll realize instantly- it’s not a cuban eatery. So I don’t feel there should ever be any confusion. That being said although it is a Mediterranean based cafe they carry tons of food and drink items from all over the world. The Italian gelato and handmade italian sodas are DELICIOUS. The hummus is also to die for. The atmosphere feels very cozy and makes studying for hours way more enjoyable. The great espresso or turkish coffee are my best friends when I come here to study. The hookah has got to be the best in the area, it ways tastes SO clean, and they have so many awesome shisha flavors – I personally enjoy the sour skittle in an orange head! Definitely my favorite hangout in bg.

IF YOU GO TO BG OR VISIT AND WANT TO GOTO A HOOKAH BAR, GO HERE !. Ive been to a couple hookah bars in bowling green, I’ve been to hookah bars everywhere. I went to BLO, also in BG, and the customer service there..well.. DOESNT EXIST, so my friends and I walked out. But here at Cafe Havana, its outstanding. They seat and serve you quickly! Not only that, but the employees seem to be happy about working there and provide awesome, friendly customer service ! Even the owner is the most friendly guy ever! After my first experience, I always come out here on the weekends! Cafe Havana is chill, friendly, and an awesome place to smoke!

Cafe Havana – The coffee is the only thing you can expect to be Cuban. And I am pretty sure the owners have confused Caribbean food with Mediterranean food. Regardless, the Mediterranean food in their cooler looks sad. The grape leaves aren’t fresh. The baked goods are awful and the smoothies/gelato menu is limited by what ingredients they bother to keep in stock. The atmosphere is generic coffee shop, but they do have local artist’s work on display. Ultimately, Bowling Green has many exceptional Mediterranean food options. Cafe Havana is not one of them – none of the food is made on site except the smoothies…and they are tasteless. It is a bit amusing that they called themselves Cafe Havana only because they serve coffee grown in Cuba. They should stick with the Cuban theme, serve Picadillo, sandwiches, and more freshly prepared authentic Cuban food and this place would take off.
