Great food where you least expect it. From the outside, South Side 6 looks like little more than another of the seemingly countless convenience stores/carry outs in Bowling Green, and if you think all they have to offer is beer and smokes you’re dead wrong. The Lebanese-born owners also make up amazing Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food fresh behind the counter; my sister-in-law, who lives in Amman, Jordan, most of the year said it was the most authentic Middle Eastern food she’s ever had in America. The food is good, the portions are huge (especially the gyros), and the prices are very reasonable. Their hummus and tabbouleh are the best you’ll find anywhere in the area.
