Bugers. My wife and I were told go for the burgers. Well not so good in my book. I ordered the black and bleu, menu said lean ground beef cooked to order, blackened and stuffed with bleu cheese served on rye with Swiss, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato finished with bleu cheese dressing. Meat was bland (no spicy kick) and under cooked also had a taste like a grill that’s not ready to cook on (lighter fluid not cooked off). If that burger was stuffed it was stuffed with invisible bleu cheese, rye bread soggy, beef full of gristle, shredded lettuce wilted under the burger. A better name for this burger would be patty melt deluxe with nasty bleu cheese dressing. Also my wine glass was brought to me way more then dirty asked for a new one and watched the bartender and server finger up the second one so I wiped it off with my napkin. With all the choices for diners Back porch saloon is off the list.

Downhill. The first time I went to the Back Porch it was a great experience, good food, good service but as the years went on it started going down hill. The last time I was there we ended up walking out before we ever got seated. It was busy and the greaters were standing up front talking to one of the customers, totally ignoring everyone else who walked in (we thought they were all customers) When they finally got around to asking us how many they then wandered around the place looking for a place to put us, and then customers came in who they obviously knew so they seated them first. we walked out and went somewhere else.

The deviled eggs are very tasty. Two mustards, yellow & dijon, creamy whipped egg yolks. Seasoned well. Salad was good. Lots of flavor in the well seasoned chicken. Turkey burger was of the frozen, procesed verity. Decent flavor, kind of a rubbery texture. The red bean soup was just ok. Needed more flavor as well as seasoning. Overall a decent place. Lots of activites to keep you occupied. A fun afternoon in the sun.

Make more rare. Good atmosphere service good when not busy. Fish sandwich is much better than Casa Bianca’s. Prime rib sandwich is really good but they need to make it rarer it just gets to done for my taste. Drink prices are fair. I like sitting outside and would go back

Love. I met my husband there, and we still go up there in the summer. I love the outdoor area.

Really good bar food. Really good bar food & great, fun service. Love the tiki bar.FYI–parents? Your children don’t belong at a bar after 9pm.
