Awesome Pizza. Bog Dogs is some of the best Pizza I’ve ever eaten. The crust is nice and crispy, the sauce has a wonderful, sweet, tomato flavor, and they use Fresh Mozzarella. The restaurant itself is really cool too. They have a model train track that stretches all the way around the top of the restaurant, and either one or both trains are going all the time. They also have Historical Newspaper highlights. It’s just a cool place with great Pizza. I highly recommend it.
Great Find!. My fiance and I recently moved into a neighborhood close to Big Dogs. We decided to try it out and we really enjoyed it. Not only is the pizza great (and filling), but the employees are nice and welcoming. If you are looking for a laid back classic feeling pizza joint, I would definitely suggest Big Dogs.
Hidden gem. I took my family there for the first time tonight, and can’t wait to go back. The pizza was so good that my (2) 6 year olds, who are incredibly picky, ate until I thought one of them was going to get sick!!! That’s saying something!!! The owner or manager was super friendly, engaging my girls, and even came to all the tables giving free home-made rice crispy to all the families. In general, this place rocks with good food, clean restaurant, and friendly staff. I HIGHLY recommend this pizza joint to families, but it’s still a place I’d go with a few buddies to watch football.
Our favorite pizza place. Our family has been going to Big Dog’s Pizza for a couple of years now. It’s our favorite pizza place. The pizza is wonderfully cooked and the atmosphere is great for kids. The owner is EXTREMELY nice every time we walk in. I highly recommend it. Best pizza in area.
Waited 2 years to try this place. I’ve waited 2 years to try Big Dogs. My fiancee’s parents live in the neighborhood and I have heard good things from the family. It sits back in a small strip center close to tylersville rd. The inside is great. Just enough tables, a few tv’s, 2 working trains running from the ceiling, draft & bottle beer, and a friendly atmosphere.Pizza selections are reasonably priced with some nice specialty pies. We ordered 2 medium specialty pizzas, and an order of breadsticks. The pizza had too much cheese for my liking, but it was still good. breadsticks were ok. The major star of the show is a new item that they are about to put on the menu. Soft pretzel breadsticks!! We were given a sample order of them & man were they good!!While this place isn’t my favorite, it is far better than the big chains here.
Great little Pizza Place. We love Big Dog’s. The pizza and the atmosphere is great. Kinda small place but cozy. You order at the counter and pick up your food. A few tv’s. Running trains around the top of restaurant. Good for kids.
