Ordered the chicken salad which listed a ton of ingredients (egg, grapes, mayonnaise). After the first bite, I realized that they had not listed raw onions which I’m allergic to. They quickly brought me a different sandwich andcomped my meal, but what really irritated me is the head manager. He came out to make excuses that onions are not a normal allergen and shouldn’t have to be listed on the menu. Really? Everyone else does. Thanks for making me feel abnormal. Then he made me sign an incident report as if I were a criminal. I was humiliated in front of all my friends. And I am sick to my stomach now thanks to the raw onion. NEVER AGAIN. The food was good. But service makes or breaks a restaurant.
Wonderful. For brunch we had lobster eggs benedict and crab eggs benedict. Good sized portions and eggs yolks were not overcooked. Kudos to the chef and his team. Waitresses are all friendly. We’ll make it a regular stop. Great decor.
Good Food. I found it to be a little too cozy. The lack of space made it a bit cramped with the tables so close. The service was good and the food was excellent. A bit pricey, but I won’t complain since the salmon was the best I ever had. I would say overall it was a good experience and I’d try it again.
A+ !!. My family and I just had dinner at Cozy’s Cottage and it was one of the most delightful evenings any of us have had in a while. The atmosphere is comfortable, the food is DELICIOUS, and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back. I would choose this over a bigger restaurant any day. My only regret is that it was too cold outside to enjoy the patio!
Delicious brunch!. Brunch is one of my favorite meals, and Cozy’s Cottage had a number of items that made my mouth water. I ultimately chose the smoked salmon, which came nicely presented on large platter with a beautiful assortment of fresh veggies, cream cheese, and a lightly toasted bagel. The meal was delicious and perfectly portioned – I have never had smoked salmon so fresh before! I highly recommend sitting outside – the lovely weather and tasty meal made for a perfect morning.
Crab Cakes. A deviation from the traditional crab cakes, which have real breadcrumbs and are sauteed. These crab cakes have panko crumbs and are deep fat fried and it is not an improvement! Inside, the crab mixture is very finely chopped and combined. There are no lumps of crab which is what makes a good crab cake. In addition, they are served with very little Remoulade sauce, which is squiggled across the top about 3 times as more of a decoration than a sauce.
Wonderful dining experience. Met some friends at Cozy’s tonight for dinner – the best dining experience I’ve had in years. We sat outside (the weather was perfect) and enjoyed good service and great food. I had the special – Red Fish with roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. All was good but the fish was outstanding! I had no room for dessert but sipped coffee while listening to the live music. Friendly, casual atmosphere. Fire pit with seating adds to atmosphere. I will make return visits to try different items on the menu.
