Not even sub-par. I’ve been…. Not even sub-par.I’ve been here twice now, and not impressed either time. The service is okay, pricing decent, the food however..Honestly the biggest problem is the cheese: it’s not fresh and tastes/looks like pre-packaged mozzarella. It’s the kind that never really melts, and is unappetizing. The guacamole is possibly the blandest thing I’ve had in a while. Extremely smooth, no tomatoes, onions, or chunks of anything. The enchiladas were undercooked, the relleno had barely melted cheese.The only positive was the chicken. It was quiet we’ll cooked and had a nice succulent flavor.All in all, I will not be returning. I’d prefer Taco Bell to this.
Don’t waste your time & money!. My husband & I have been here several times. The first few times we were satisfied with the food & service. Not over the top but satisfied none the less. However the last 2 times the service has been Terrible! The waiter was so slow and told us it was because they have a new computer system???? That’s why he is slow? No it was because he was talking to his buddies instead of taking care of customers. This last time, we almost left before our order was taken & I wish we had. He was so slow and it was obvious he really didn’t care. He was unfriendly & we felt as if we were a bother instead of a welcomed diner. We had to get the attention of other waiters twice to get assistance for refills and a box for leftovers. Then we finally got the check and we were charged for each soft drink and for each refill! Even Red Lobster gives free refills. This is the first time I have ever left a negative comment for any establishment, but we felt ripped off by this place. We will never go here again!
Don’t go here. What a terrible Mexican restaurant!!! I go to Mexican for margaritas, cheese dip and an entree. Omg the cheese dip was terrible the salsa was even worse. The margs, I cannot lie, we’re very good. We got our bill and we did the math and we were charged over double what it should have been. I can deal with trying out a new restaurant and their food sucking but but charge me over double? I waited, patiently for our server to come back over once we tried to waive him down, twice. Even after we asked a bussed to get him, he still didn’t come. This went on for about 20 minutes. I went up to the cashier and told him to check the math. Yup, OVER double. What the heck? He printed out a new receipt and I went and sat down.. The server.. Had the nerve to try to come over to me and apologize. I looked at him and rolled my eyes. I will never ever go back to this piece of crap place again!!!!
Super Clean with Tasty Food. Admittedly, I’m a picky eater. But, my husband grew up in San Diego and Houston, so he’s a big Tex-Mex fan. We both thought the food was pretty tasty. Not the best we’ve ever had, but it’s hard to beat Tex-Mex in Texas. The enchiladas were yummy and my husband’s fajita’s were huge. We were both stuffed (and satisfied) when we left. The service was great – super fast and we weren’t waiting around. We even had time to do some shopping before heading to a meeting we had that evening.But, most importantly, I have to say…the place was SO CLEAN. By far the cleanest Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been in! Definitely worth a try!
Service. Arrived and waited 11 minutes for a server to get us drinks. After ordering our food we waited almost 35 minutes for our order to make it out. I even asked another waiter to find our food as our waiter was never around. Nacho chips were good but the white cheese sauce was just flat nasty. Never going back here. I love Mexican food but not this place.
The cuisine isn’t authentic Mexican, and they’re not trying to fool anyone about what they sell; it’s clearly Tex-Mex and its good Tex-Mex. I liked the beef in the tacos, as it was actually beef, unlike the weird potato mixed beef you get at most places, anymore. The prices aren’t as low as the places that use that substitute, but actually eating what you pay for is totally worth it. I saw no issues with portion sizes… I was full with my huge side of rice and my two tacos. 🙂 The salsa was a little garlic-y but absolutely acceptable. The chips were super crunchy and thick, just like I like. No complaints! It was just what I was looking for.
It’s generic tex-mex, the best you’re likely to find in the price range. Hilariously, there are still decorations from the sushi place that previously resided here
