Too many times my order is missing items. I always go thru the drive – thru, so that is my gripe. I have a large family, and we many times will get lunch or dinner there. It’s NOT my responsibility to make sure the order is correct. It’s yours! 3 out of the last 5 times I have ordered from there, we are missing items. It happened again today….how does a bagel joint, forget the 2 bagels I ordered? I ordered 3 sandwiches and 2 bagels. How hard is that?My days at Skip’s are over. Just get tired of paying for items that I never receive. I spend about $25 every time I go thru that drive-thru, which is at least once a week.
I would really like this place if it got your orders correct and if it was clean. For some reason both those things irritate me. I love their choice of bagels and deli meat but they need to train their employees.
They have the best bagels in the area. They are larger and taste fresher than Panera’s. Get early for the best selection. The BLT and egg bagel sandwich is a great start to any day. The omelets are great too
Great Sandwiches. I just tried the sloppy skip (i think that was the name) and it was very good. All of the sandwiches I’ve had are over stuffed and filling. The brownies on a stick make a great desert.
Hometown gem. Todd may complain about his order being incorrect, but obviously he must like something or he wouldn’t be going back. The truth is, the have the best bagels, fresh food and a friendly staff. This place is locally owned, and while they may make some mistakes, they surely will try to make up for it. I’ve been coming since they opened a few years ago, and can only recall 2 times that my order was incorrect, and they apologized profusely. I will say they have an awfully large menu for a place that has a drive thru, so possibly all that variety causes some problems. Anyway, it’s a great place, using only Boar’s Head meats (the best!), make their own bagels, support the community (seen their donations at a few Lakota school events) and seem to really care about their customers.
Order. Skip’s has got to be one of the worst resturant locations in getting orders correctly. On many occasions I have gotten my order made incorrectly. I guess it is hard to get someone’s order correct when they order a ham, egg and swiss on a plain bagel. On many occasions I have gotten chedder instead of swiss. I have also gotten a sausage, egg, and chedder which is not even close to what I orderd. My suggestion to anyone who visits this location is to double check your order before leaving. My sugestion to anyone who orders anything from this location is to always check your order before you leave. If you are in a hurry and do not have time for Skip’s to remake your order when they mess it up, do not attempt to go to Skip’s on that day.
