I came here to eat last night and the night before that. I’m in town for a Spartan race up at The Wilds. After a six hour drive from Pennsylvania out here we were hungry as heck. So after checking into our hotel we ventured out into town for a bite to eat. We can across The Forum and what a good find. Our first night here I ordered the Greek Sampler and the black bean chipotle veggie burger . Great sampler but the veggie burger was delicious and if you have read any of my post from the past you would know vegetarian is not in my vocabulary lol. I wanted to try something different and I’m happy I did. The next night after five hours of grueling mountainous terrain and thirty obstacles we worked up a helluva appetite. So after showering up we headed back to The Forum. This time I ordered a gyro . I gotta say it was one of the best I have. I had better but this one was really good. We also had the onion thing they have there for the appetizer. That was great as well. There was no complaints from our party of four. Plus the price was really good. Very affordable for a place like this with awesome food. The waitresses were great as well. There was a thirty minute wait both nights but that was kind of expected with all the Spartans in town. All in all it was a very good experience.
Decent Greek food. I had a Greek salad which was excellent. Beautiful to behold and large, very large! Half would have been plenty for a meal. It comes with dolmades, spanakopita and tyropita, all very tasty. My husband had a gyro and baklava. The sandwich was fine, the baklava a little doughy. Our server was great–friendly, helpful answering our questions and efficient.
Disappointing. I had the Parisian Seafood, the crab was imitation. Very disappointing considering the price point. One guest had Lasagna and it was cold on arrival, they claimed it was homemade but it also had a piece of plastic in it. Another guest was given a glass that had chunks of something floating in it. This visit was nothing short of disappointing. The dressing on my salad was tasty. ..so I guess it wasn’t a total bust.
