Mary. My husband and I were there a few Saturday’s ago. It was mid afternoon and there was only one other table occupied when we arrived. It was a little noisey because the staff was deep in conversation with each other about their personal lives. This was not offensive to us. It gave it more of a down to earth, homey feel, but we can see how it would be a turn off to some customers. We ordered a pizze and hoagie to split and drinks. It was an onion and mushroom pizza and it was very good. We ordered a large because my husband said we could take the rest home for later. Well, he kept eating and eating I think we had 4 small pieces to take with. The hoagie was really good. Hot, grilled and fresh. The decor is definitely nothing to make your asthetic senses tingle, but definitely good food. Just a little face lift….a good scrubbing and some paint, would do a world of good. We will probably go back at some point.

It was tasteless and burnt on the bottom , not much more than a pile of noodles and sauce. Bland sauce , served in a tin . That and a soda in a Styrofoam cup will run you $ 10.

Best Pizza. I grew up on Isadores Pizza and it has always been great, I live in Las Cruces NM now but anytime I go home thats the first place I stop, then I go get a couple of Camp Washington Chili Cheese Coneys extra onion…..and its in Camp Washington not flipping Price hill…
Good Value. Went in for the first time today, had no great expectations… I’ll go again. Good portions, good taste, reasonable service, fair price. (Lunch special was $6 for a sandwich, fries, and a drink.)
Another kind of Italian. I really like Isadore’s, especially the lunch buffet. This isn’t Italian food the way they eat it in Italy. This is hearty, lowbrow Italian food the way your Irish grandmother used to make it for West Side church dinners. This isn’t a place to take people to be impressed by the cuisine, but to my taste, they do what they do very well. When I’ve gone, the place is always crowded with hardworking blue-collar west-siders- construction workers, various laborers, occasional cops.
So-so pasta and not so good pizza. Went here and was kind of disappointed in the place. It is fairly clean but make sure if you eat in that you order at the counter. They told us this after sitting for a few minutes. This place is also cash only so keep that in mind. We had the large spaghetti and meatballs and a 10 pizza. The pasta was decent with plenty of sauce and the meatballs were pretty good. The pizza was sub-par with not enough sauce and just not very good. There are so many other good pizza places in this area that I would just go to one of those instead.
