Excellent food and service. We were seated right away. We started out with the steak skewers were so tender and flavorful. My husband got the aged steak and I got the blackened chicken and Gouda Mac and cheese. We both loved our food choices and atmosphere. Highly recommended
Waited 30 minutes for a drink when we had a reservation while multiple people walked by. The service from patty was all around horrible. It also took ten minutes after the food came out for anyone to ask how it was… The wings were great as an app but then was asked if we would like ranch or blue cheese and said yes we were charged $1- really do you need another dollar? This is not a typical high end restaurant at all and I would not recommend it to anyone. Go to Bricco or 3 point and you can receive much better service!!
This place is just OK…the food was bland for my taste, service was mediocre and the ambiance could use an upgrade. I order the Ceasar salad which was fair but nothing to brag about except the fact that they were generous on the chicken. Everyone there talked about how delist the Hpuda Mac N Cheese was… To me, too bland and needs some more spices but has potential to be a signature side. Not thinking of going back anytime soon.
Consistantly strong. We usually sit at the bar and have always enjoyed good service along with good food. I think it’s a bright spot in downtown Akron dining scene.
Good food, disappointing service. I have heard great things about crave – the food, drinks, atmosphere, etc. I visited crave for the first time last night and unfortunately was disappointed with my experience. Our server got to the table 15 minutes after we had sat down and came back only to deliver drinks another 15 minutes after they were ordered. My fiance’s drink didn’t even come until we were halfway through our meal. Our server spent more time flirting with other servers and one of her friends that was visiting. I will say that the food we had was good, but the service is a deterring factor for a return visit.
Crave Never Disappoints. I’ve been to Crave a few times, and each time I return I wonder why I haven’t been dining there more often.My latest trip was on a Friday night. We arrived around 7pm and we were able to get a small table with no wait. It had been over a year since my last visit to Crave and I was excited to see that their menu had been switched up, but I went with one of their dishes that’s been around for a while: Cornflake Chicken, Manchego, Caramelized Onions, Carolina BBQ, Smoked Paprika Aioli on Sourdough.The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the aioli melted into the onions. Oddly, I’m not sure where the bbq was, but it was still delicious. My date had the chicken and waffles (Chicken & Waffles, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Cinnamon Sage Waffle, Triple Hot Sauce, Vanilla Infused Maple Syrup, Bourbon Butter). He enjoyed it, and when they say triple hot sauce they mean it.For dessert we split the peanut butter brownie served with pb pretzel ice cream. The brownie was the perfect texture, not too gummy or cakey. The ice cream was wonderful and I wish they sold it by the pint. Their food prices are fair for the ingredients they use, and their beer prices are low. Their martinis are made with top shelf liquor and worth the price. If you only try one thing at Crave, make it the tomato/grilled cheese soup. You won’t be sorry.
Special Place-. There is something about this restaurant. The atmosphere is so unique. They try hard to be creative and they succeed. The presentation of the food on the plate and attention to detail is excellent. If only they would go straight Vegetarian and then they would be in a class of their own. Salads are delicious. Iced tea is the best anywhere. I have always had B service here. As I recall, waiting for the check is the stumbling block.
