Tried this place a couple weeks ago. It was okay. Like the old-fashioned diner feel of the place. Interior and ambiance are quaint and nostalgic. The service was okay. Food was okay, overpriced just a tad in my opinion. I had a chili dog, which was okay. Kind of wish they would have added onions or asked me. Lots of chili though so that was a plus. The dog itself was kind of small though. I also had fries, which I didn’t especially care for. They were kind of soft and soggy. I also had a pizza burger which I wasn’t too impressed with. It was like $5 but it was just a hamburger in a bun with a faint trace of mozzarella cheese on the interior and just a hint of marinara. I was expecting more from a $5 sandwich. I like that they physically wrote the order on a slip of paper though. That was definitely a cool touch. All in all, The Willow is okay. The kind of place I would come to once in a blue moon.
