Great service, great food, Cincinnatian will definitely be back.. First time going here. We ended up going here tonight because Cheesecake Factory had a 2 hour wait on Mothers Day at 5pm. The wait at Archer’s was minimal because we had a party of 8. The manager was amazing and very friendly. We really only waited about 20 -25 minutes but the manager was very apologetic for the wait and offered us a couple appetizers. Our server Amanda G was great, very friendly and drinks NEVER went empty for even a minute. The food was great and came out fast for as busy as it was, all 8 of us loved what we ordered. Lots of beers to choose from. We live in Colerain Cincinnati and will definitely go back here again even though it’s 45 minutes away.

Great bratburger on pretzel bun. We’ve been to Archer’s many times, usually after a visit to Centerville for an appt or during a warm weather Harley ride. The bar staff is always great. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the beer. We LOVE the hot wings but since they’ve caused stomach distress after for both of us on several occasions, we’ve had to swear them off. Don’t know if they’re swimming in MSG laden sauce or what. I sooooo want to be able to eat them but I’ve learned my lesson, as has my spouse. The bratburger is a delicious, unique alternative. The chili is good as are the burgers. Pizza doesn’t look great so we haven’t tried it. Wish they had more healthy menu options but I need to remember that it’s a bar. They have a good beer selection that changes regularly. It’s worth a stop.

Spotlight Archer’s Tavern. Archers Tavern Earlier this year I had a Facebook contest for people to name their favorite restaurant in the area. Archers Tavern was the winner, and it wasnt even close!! I had a chance to sit down with owners Dan Apolito, Mike Fullenkamp, and Scott Dorsten a few weeks ago to find out why Archers is so popular. The secret to their success isnt complicated. Its a philosophy of providing simple, American comfort food; hiring the best people; providing great service, and executing the business at a high level. These owners (who all have children attending Centerville schools) push every employee to make a connection with guests. They have a team approach at Archers. If your server is busy with another table, ANY server will step in and help you! Dan, Mike and Scott also empower their employees to solve problems. They dont always have to take it to a manager. Finally, at Archers, trying a new menu item is a no risk proposition. If you dont like it, they replace it with something you do like…at no cost!!Since their opening in June of 2010, Archers has supported local businesses:All beef is from Zinks Meats http://www.zinksmeats.comCrazy Uncle Jesters wing sauce from Jeff Stevenson (aka Crazy Uncle Jeff) http://www.crazyunclejester.com/hot-sauceBuckeye Vodka from Jim Finke http://www.buckeyevodka.comRiegele Beer which is locally imported by David Klass (and it is only served in Dayton and New York City!) http://www.bizjournals.com/dayton/blog/morning_call/2013/08/beer-of-the-decade-to-make-american.htmlBread Pudding from Bills Donuts http://www.billsdonutshop.comSpecial Events at ArchersAnnual Chili Cook-offHeld every fall, this past years event had 18 participants and over 100 guests. The winning recipe goes on Archers menu for one year. Proceeds from the event goes toward a $1,000 scholarship to support Centerville High Schools Culinary Program!Craw-Fish BoilArchers celebrates their anniversary with this week-long event. Dan says this is the ONLY time he drinks while on-duty;A Year of BeerEvery Wednesday at 5 p.m., Archers taps a new, unique craft beer. The first 48 people that arrive get a brewery specific glass. This event has attracted a cult-like following!Stone House Tavern in Waynesville In September of 2012, Archers opened this 2nd location. Dans first response to this idea was to laugh out loud because Waynesville is dry. John Purdum had the only liquor license in the town, and offered to partner with the Archers team in order to make Stone House Tavern a reality. Owner Mike Fullenkamp was on-site every day to insure that the building was completed exactly as planned. The biggest challenge was establishing enough local connections to insure the standards at Archers were maintained at this new location. After a few growing pains, they promoted a general manager from within the existing staff and its worked out quite well!Class…Integrity…Respect are common words to describe these 2 locations. One of the most telling pieces of evidence of this is when they decided to NOT offer their crowd-favorite pizza at Stone House Tavern. They did not want to unfairly compete with the local pizza establishments who do not have a liquor license.Stay Tuned… word has it that a 2nd location in Centerville is in the works! Lets hope so!!Facebook spotlight courtesy of:Greg Fay

Office Manager. Today we ordered lunch from here and was happy with the quantity and quality of our food, but some of our order was missing. I contacted them and spoke with manager Lisa, who was very friendly and accommodating. She was quick to change our experience to 100%. She and the staff went out of the way to provide wonderful customer service. Which is really hard to find anymore. We will be using Archers for a regular choice for our lunch outings. Thanks Lisa and the staff at Archers.
