Undercooked and terrible. 9-17-2014 My family decided to order 2 large super cheese pizza and a small cheese. When we ate the pizza we were so unhappy that the pizza was undercooked, the cheese wasn’t hot and not completely melted and the crust wasn’t crisp as in the past. I proceed to call 937-433-3993 and spoke to the manager Tony he never said he was sorry and just assumed that I wanted free pizza and proceeded to tell me that I had to bring a certain percentage of the pizza back for his inspection. I don’t want another pizza from Marion’s ever. You clearly need some customer relations skills. Customers just want to know that they have been heard. Not to be treated as if they are trying to steal from your company.Donna G Centerville Ohio
Good Pizza. Nice place to eat for the family. Pizza is very good. Atmosphere is usually quiet a little more busy Friday and Saturday nights. I have eaten there for over 35 years and always got good food. Several locations to choose from. Only down fall is they don’t have all the pizza sizes most pizza places do.
Great for families and groups…. Despite having grownup nearby, I was never very enamored with Marion’s. However, we visited from out of town and decided to take the whole gang the night before we departed. I had low expectations, but was surprised at how good it was. Ordered four pizzas (deluxe, plain cheese, two sausage and pepperoni). There were hot & fresh, and all the kids were happy. It’s a thin, crispy crust, cut into squares. They have all the traditional toppings, and their sausage is good. It is not a very robust pizza, but it’s not bland either. It’s certainly a big improvement over whatever you might order from the national pizza chains. Prices were reasonable too.
Rude Staff. I have been here twice and each time someone on the staff has been rude. ‘Nuff said…won’t be back.
Pizza is okay but overpriced compared to the chains. I can understand mom and pop restaurants not taking credit cards to reduce costs but I don’t see this Chain’s excuse. If you are serving beer with your Pizza, think about having servers and maybe some TVs to watch the games on. Definitely an overhyped chain that doesn’t put the customer convenience first. Couple that with average pizza and the rabid local following does not make any sense.
Not my favorite, but not too hateful either. Marions is definitely a Dayton institution, and while it is extremely popular, I don’t gravitate to them when I want a pizza. It’s not that I dislike Marions pizza – it’s o.k.- just not in my top 5. The toppings are ground to a pulp, so it’s like your pizza is pre-chewed…..kind of freaks me out a little.
Great Pizza priced very moderately.. A STAPLE of Dayton cuisine! If you are passing by or staying in Dayton, treat yourself to Marion’s! Great pizza, great atmosphere, moderately priced, cold beer. Everything you could ask for!
