Dont waste your money. I will not go back, cheese and desert course was good (not great). Main course was bad. If you consider the fact that they do not pay any cooks, only prep chefs, the prices are way off ! Very expensive for what you are getting. We tried the Bourguignonne style ( because meats boiled in broth did not sound appealing). It came with 2 batters both were terrible, way to thick the tempura batter was grainy, our oil was not hot enough ,so nothing browned. My husband kept reaching around to turn the burner up and everytime our server came back she would turn it back down! The manager did give us a complimentary glass of champagne ( it was our anniversary) . Our tab was $168 ouch!!! Very disappointing !
Pricy but worth it! Soooo good!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! This is definitely a special occasion place but it’s great! We went for a birthday. We made a reservation and were greeted at the door with a happy birthday and a card at the table. Our service with our server Joe was impeccable. Food was fantastic (allow for extra time: 2+ hours for 4 courses and cook time, and plenty of time to chat). We had a 2 person booth in the corner which was perfect for us. We even had a little birthday surprise! I hate everyone didn’t have this perfect experience but we will definitely be back!
Just go once to say you have been. The cheese and chocolate are good but the main course is terrible, unless you like bland boiled meat. The ambience is nice, our service was 7 out of 10 but the prices are way to expensive. We will not go back but I recommend everyone experience it once.
AMAZING experience!!!. If you are looking for quality food and service I definitely recommend trying The Melting Pot! My wife and I loved the cheddar cheese fondue that our server prepared table side. The Caesar salad was very good and my wife loved the California salad. I was somewhat skeptical about cooking my own food, but the entree ended up being one of the many highlights of the evening. Our server Jenna did a fantastic job of explaining how to cook all of our meats, seafood, and veggies at the table. We absolutely loved the filet, lobster, and chicken! There were also quite a few tasty sauces that complimented the entrees we ordered. The chocolate fondue was heavenly. Strawberries, bananas, cheese cake, and a bunch of other tasty dippers to dunk into our warm pot of chocolate! The manager Matt was very friendly and stopped by a few times to make sure my wife was enjoying her birthday dinner. Thanks again to everyone at The Melting Pot for making my wife’s birthday perfect! We will definitely be visiting more often!
The Fool soon parted from his money. What an absolutely horrible dining experience..all for the bargain price of $300.00…I don’t even know where to begin…perhaps when we had been there an hour and a half and still had not been served the salad…or the skimpiness of the portions for the first course cheese fondue..oh wait, I know… when they brought out raw chicken (and other raw meats and fish) on a plate and expected us to boil it on our own…I can’t believe ANYONE in their right mind could call this anything less than botulistic…my step-son refused to eat…it was the most unappealing and unappatizing presentation I have ever seen…and I am 50 years old and weigh in at 275lbs…I’ve seen my share of food…this farce of a restaurant needs to be closed down by the health department.
