The look is dated, but he menu is not. I like this place because it reminds of the places my grandparents used to take me when I was child. The menu is filled with modern takes and great steaks. Smoked salmon appetizer is fantastic and fresh. The Twin Fillets is a great options as well their take on a pub oscar is outstanding. I highly recommend Paragon for your special occasion dining.

Good steaks. The place definitely has an old school decor but the food is good. I had the Porterhouse and it was a huge cut. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Not some place I could afford all the time, but nice to go once in awhile. Everyone else in our party loved their food as well.

Awesome place to go without children. My husband took me to this restaurant for my birthday. Hard working, professional staff and tremendous food. I have never had a better steak than at The Paragon!!! Beats Ruth Chris.

Great food, horrible reception at the hostess stand. We tried to make a 5:00 reservation and we’re told they were booked. We could not believe a restaurant was totally booked for that time so we drove over to see if we could get in. We were greeted with an eye roll because we did not have a reservation (even though we tried to make one). There were maybe 3 tables with people seated so we were finally seated after many comments on the fact that they had to accomadate our party of 8 – which, again, is why we called ahead. Our waitress was wonderful, food was fabulous and hostess staff was so aloof and we still cannot understand why.

Bad service. We have been going to the Paragon Supper Club for 30 years and I’ve never been so disappointed in my service as I was last Friday night 11-14-14. I was the first to set down because my husband was paying our bar bill. The first thing my server asks was I see you have a drink, did you pay at the bar? I smiled and said yes, my husband is still there paying and will be her shortly. When my husband arrived she asked him again if he paid, he smiled and said yes. I’m thinking that was weird. Then she said…are you sure you paid? That started the fun night with this lady. He smiled again and said I’m sure I’m sure. She was rude to us the rest of the evening and I won’t go into all the horrible detail. Not sure what we did and I know people have bad days but it was like she hated us. She even at one point asked us if we were going to eat or not! We were talking to each other so I guess we weren’t eating fast enough. The only time she was nice was when she brought the bill.Having such a bad experience made our food taste bad so I’m giving that night a zero. After you spend that kind of money, you feel cheated. Wish I could have another night back there without her. I’m not going back for a long, long time!

While the Paragon does have good steaks, I feek they have priced themselves out if the market. I dined there tonight. A 8 ounce filet is $33.95 and the petite filet 5 ounce and not on the menu was $31.95. I was under the impression it was much cheaper. The waitress should have told me the price difference. I would have ordered the larger one for justv $2 more.

Some of best steak in SW Ohio. The Paragon is a must for steak lovers in SW Ohio. It is right up there with the Pine Club, Oakwood Club, and Carver’s in terms of steak quality. The sides are great and atmosphere is always classy and relaxed. The staff are wonderful as well. You are going to get your money’s worth, in my opinion. Highly recommended!
