I found my experience here to be somewhat disappointing. Early on a Sunday evening the place was not even half full, but the service was awful. The server appeared to be very young and maybe she was very new, but we were not happy with her service. The manager, who was omnipresent, did not seem to be too concerned about the weak link in his service chain. The food – burgers – was excellent but over priced. The onion rings were amazing and huge, but you only get about 5 or 6 for 5 bucks. The room was also very loud. With all the dining options in downtown Cinci, I don’t think I would go back.
Had to hit Cincy a couple of weekends to go to paint my rental property, and all while I’ve been gone my best friend has been keeping me apprised of all the great food spots that have opened since I left. After a night of drinking we stopped by the burger bar just before closing. I love it. My burger was great and I love the decor. The nachos were fabulous (from a nacho fiend) and I could have eaten those alone. When I’m back in town, I’ll be back!
I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews of this place, so I decided to try to out! The staff was very friendly from the time we walked in which is always nice. I had the wings, slaw and chowder. The wings were awesome, and left me wanting more! Defiantly top 3 wings in the city. The chowder was ok, nothing great and the slaw was good. He burger was good, but nothing mind blowing, the bun was underwhelming too. Fries were fresh and hand cut, but good. Overall, it was good, I think the burger took second to the wings!
