Meh. Bland, dirty and non authentic. If you are near this place walk a block down to the square and it up Taco Azul if they around. Those burritos are the bomb.
This was a good burrito. A change from chipotle for sure. I liked how they had some good options for kids like the pb&j. My son is super picky. Chipotle is still me favorite, but its worth trying.
Beats Chipotle on all fronts. Today was my first visit to Downtown Cincinnati’s 5th Street location – with many more to come. Compared to Chipotle (1 block away), to which Currito is VERY similar in concept: 1) Better food – Currito’s Chicken Teriyaki burrito may be the best burrito I’ve ever tasted. Chipotle is generally very good; today Currito was great. 2) Better options – Currito’s has multiple burrito sizes and a wider array of ingredients. Plus, several menu items (like the Teriyaki burrito) put an interesting group of ingredients together. That makes it easy and quick…3–and maybe most importantly) MUCH faster lines – Arrived at Currito at 11:55 (a BUSY time downtown) and was out the door in about 7 minutes vs. 20+++ at Chipotle at that time. Two food-prep lines makes all the difference. (With a McDonalds heritage, it’s surprising that Chipotle wouldn’t have superior operations.)To sum up: Currito is the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner–I mean Chicken Burrito lunch.
Good. I’m not a fan of Chipotle so if I had read the reviews that it was similar then I probably would have never gone. However, it is much better than Chipotle. On my first visit I had a cajun chicken Burrito with lime rice and it was very tasty. The second time I got a buritto bowl and I’m hooked. You can have a burrito, burrito bowl or salad and then you have different ‘theme’ like Asian, Cajun, etc. It is relatively healthy even though it is a bit pricey for lunch.
Not impressed. Not much flavor to the meat, rather bland & dry. Burrito was relatively small when compared to Chipotle gigantic size. I wouldn’t mind the $8 pricetag for just a burrito if it was good & the meat properly prepared. Ordered chips & hot salsa to accompany & received bland tomato paste with no kick whatsoever. It’s too bad it’s barely average & a disappointment for us downtown employees.
Just Like Chipotle. I just ate there for lunch. It was very similar to Chipotle, but a lot of their options had an international theme. I had a custom made burrito bowl with chicken, cheese, mango salsa, and some blazing Asian hot sauce. It was really good. I will probably go back next week.
