We asked East Coast Eatz to attend our school’s celebration for the International Day of Peace. We contacted them three months prior to the event and they agreed to attend as long as they could bring their two trucks and that we only invite one additional truck. We agreed. Ten minutes AFTER the event began, the owner sent me an email saying he wasn’t licensed in Kentucky and would not be attending with either truck. I was clear about our location in our initial conversation and he never communicated that he wasn’t licensed to serve our location. They were supposed to donate a portion of their proceeds back to the school. He gave us absolutely no time to come up with another plan.

As an employee of a small business, we all were very excited to have a food tuck catered to our establishment. They did arrive early to setup, we all watched out the window in anticipation. Unfortunately right at lunch time, we were informed that we were unable to enjoy in the festivities due to East Coast Eatz failing inspection. One of the refrigerators on the truck was not working. Although we were disappointed, we all understood, but it was too late to plan anything else.So as a small business, we decided to give East Coast Eatz another chance. We rescheduled our outing for the next month. So today was the day. Again nobody brought their lunch since we are having a food truck today. How does East Coast Eatz redeem themselves? They cancel on the day of our event, right before lunchtime. Why did they cancel you ask? They stated that they were fatigued from working an event at Kings Island over the weekend. Really? You stood up an appointment that we schedule a month in advance, because you worked over the weekend. Major disappointment in this company!Really, thank for supporting small local businesses, that were looking to give you monthly revenue. East Coast Eatz has provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.I normally don’t take time to write reviews, but I hope this helps another company looking for food service for their employees. We will not be giving them a 3rd chance to let us down, please don’t give them a 1st.

We asked East Coast Eatz out to our office last month. They set up, had everything ready to rock, and they failed their health inspection due to a faulty fridge. We completely understood that these things happen, so we decided to give them another chance. Today – I had 45 HANGRY employees, because East Coast Eatz cancelled on us last minute saying they were overworked from an event over the weekend. I work for a small business here in Northern Kentucky, and we take customer service very seriously. I’m frustrated that we had our event planned in advance, and they knew what the expectation was for our event. Frankly, I don’t care that your company had a rough weekend – that happens. Cancelling on a group of guaranteed revenue is absolutely horrible. I hope others read this review and decide to utilize a different company. I would NEVER recommend these guys to anyone – and I’ve never even tasted their food.

Great food! Been wanting to try you for a long time and I finally got to at the anderson food truck rally last night. Best food I had all night!

I wouldn’t know how good the food is because when the food truck arrived they had no propane. What food truck arrives without propane!!! I had 50 employees waiting for lunch and no food….never again!

The Worst Ever!!!. The cheese steak is a joke, it taste like crock pot meat shredded up really fine and they don’t use REAL cheese they use SQUEEZE cheese, it is the worst sandwich I have ever paid $7 for, they should be ashamed of themselves…If we all hadn’t thrown ours away I would have attached a photo.
