Here with wife for drink prior to dinner at Nada. Only at bar on 1st floor. Decor cool. Good draft beer selection and wife enjoyed her cocktail. Crowded. Well dressed clientele. Didn’t notice bouncers. Maybe too early.
I have heard so much hype about this bar. The decor is great, but they tout themselves as a 3 floor bar. Yet, unless you are with a private party that probably pays a fortune you will never see the upstairs. Not worth it, especially with all of the other bars near by.
Wow. I visited the vaunted mixologist Igbys last evening. ordered an extra dry Bombay Sapphire martini up, no olives. The waitress bought a dirty martini in a rocks glass … I told her that wasnt what I ordered, told her again what I did order. She returned seconds later, with the same salty, olive-y slurry, that was obviously merely strained into an up glass and re-served to me. We left and went over to Jeff Rubys for a real drink. Oh, and the place was full of suits and poseurs.
