Popped in for breakfast the other day. Ordered a bacon egg & cheese sandwich and hash browns. The sandwich was good. Pretty standard diner food. I thought it was odd that it had 3 pieces of bread. There was a ton of bacon, so it helped balance out the ingredients. I was however weirded out that the hash brown was a patty, not loose the loose hash browns I was expecting. Overall a good breakfast. They only take cash, which I think is unfortunate. whatbriscooking.com
Tomorrow morning will be the Red Fox Grill, they are open for breakfast and lunch only…. this is a institution, especially for all the employees in the downtown area especially P&G, all of the menu items are good, well done you will not be disappointed, the staff is top notch..FYI: Bring Cash… no credit cards.Recommended
Great Double Decker Sandwiches. If you like Double Decker Sandwiches you will love the Red Fox Grill. Their Double Decker sandwiches are not only delicious but they are also very large. I have not worked in Downtown Cincinnati in over 10 years, but whenever I am in Downtown, I make it a point to eat lunch at the Red Fox Grill. This is one of the hidden gems in Downtown Cincinnati!!! Stop by and find out for yourself.
HUGE Deli Sandwiches…. My staff love this place and drag me here on occasion. I’m not a big deli sandwich person, so this isn’t one of my favs… but for those who do… Wow… These sandwiches are absolutely HUGE! I always get at least 2 lunches out of it. Their soups are good too.
I liked the place. Sandwich was huge and inexpensive. If your looking for a quick, filling breakfast eat here.
Good place downtown when on a budget. There are a handful of reasonably priced places downtown for lunch and this is one of them. Many have commented on the service… I don’t have a problem there… BUT Perhaps that is because I look at the quantity of my food on my plate, the bill for my meal, and the ratio of staff per table… and you can see that they keep staff levels down to help keep the food cheap. Plus after you got there for a long time they recognize you etc.The 2-3-4 Burger is awesome… fries too… I have had many of their sandwiches which all I can say is they are so big I ask them to leave some of the meat off. Bacon? OMG BACON…. When you get a turkey and bacon sandwich here you don’t get 2 pieces of bacon… you get a mound… a mound of savory bacon that will make your arteries scream for mercy at the mere sight of it. Crunchy also… none of that soggy limp bacon around here.
What you see is what you get. Turnover is fast and sandwiches are big. I always go for grilled cheese, egg salad sandwich, or the 2-3-4 burger. My favorite part is the ice they use with their fountain drinks. I love those tiny little ice chunks!
