Worst Restaurant in Cincinnati!. My boyfriend and I wanted to go to a nice dinner to treat ourselves. We should have picked any other place than this one. At first there was no hostess so we just walked right into the restaurant. They seemed understaffed or just not staffed with very attentive people. We ordered drinks from our server and it took 10 minutes to arrive to our table which seems like along time, when she came back with my drink she then told my boyfriend they did not have the beer that he ordered on the menu- after ten minutes. He then chose another beer that arrived another 10 minutes later. We ordered the kettle chips and were happy with them but then again it would be hard to mess something that simple up. After that we both had the french onion soup, which when ordering the entree she asked my boyfriend if he wanted french onion soup believing it to be a side option for the burger, he said yes. This type of up-selling is quite a disgusting way to raise a check average and is not appreciated in any form in any restaurant I have worked in nor managed. It was absolutely horrid to say the least. It had almost no flavor and was cold at the bottom which we didn’t care about the temperature because we certainly were not going to eat that much of it with it tasting that bad. Then our entrees came out. I had a salad with salmon and he had the burger medium rare. The burger was cooked more towards medium/well done with no flavor at all and the salmon on the salad was portioned so small there was available worth eating. We were directly talking about how terrible the food was when the server came over and asked if we wanted a box and dessert. We said no to dessert, no need to be more disappointed in this place. We really didn’t want a box either, it was not worth taking home even though we didn’t even eat half of the entrees. We accepted the boxes and she gave us the check and then asked if it was cash or credit and continued to stand in front of our table until we paid. We were entirely offended with this gesture. We were not nor have ever walked out of a bill and this gesture insinuated that we were going to. I have been a server and server manager for many years and have never been treated with such offense. We paid and quickly left, obviously we were not wanted there. I called the restaurant managers but have yet to hear a response back. Were used to paying good money for good food but this is over-priced, over-cooked garbage. I do not in any way recommend this restaurant for any reason due to the lack of appropriate up-selling techniques, poor service, and even worse food quality. If you’re hungry and have no where to go I recommend driving for 2 more minutes up to vine street where the food is good and the service is quality unlike the disgusting up-selling techniques, poor service, and garbage food of this restaurant.

I would absolutely not recommend this place. We didn’t get our drinks until halfway through the meal, the water glasses were filthy, most of the service rude, and food awful. Don’t waste your money; please go elsewhere. There are other great restaurants in Cincinnati.
Excellent all around!. Went on opening night and tried the Salmon, which was excellent. My girlfriend tried the roasted chicken which was good as well. We had the Lemon Brulee dessert and I would highly recommend it as it is not overly sweet but balanced. The restaurant has a good and modern look to it and the service was great. The chef came out and asked us for our opinions on the food and we were honest and he seemed to listen and we thanked him for the great food. Although the restaurant is in the Hyatt it seems far better than most found in a hotel and they are working on an outside entrance on Elm Street and hopefully will add a sign to attract more business from outside the hotel. We are locals that live in downtown and decided to give it a try on opening night and were impressed.
