Awful tough, dry and gristly steak, uncooked vegetables, underseasoned food overall. Would never return to eat here, and the atmosphere is also very annoying. Disappointing meal in a city that is otherwise great.
The beer is brewed on site and the IPA was excellent. This is a big place overlooking Fountain Square. The food was your typical chain restaurant/bar variety. Burgers, sandwiches, etc. Overpriced in my opinion. The club sandwich was average and the fries were pretty good. My server was average – somewhat inattentive. I would go back for the beer but not the food.
When I was in college – I used to hang out at the RBB in Indianapolis – that was in the early 1990’s… This location reminded me of what I liked about RB – (as a youth)…As an adult and older/more picky – I found it to be loud and crowded. It is what it is – a chain and a place to meet with friends.
Chain yes, but pretty nice place and good beer. A friend and I went recently and got the German blonde beer which was light and drinkable (the red ale was good too). We tried the stuffed bread sticks which were delicious, but too much for even two people. Fun place.
Not bad for a chain restaurant. Not a fan of most of their beers, but I love the salads I’ve had. They are typically very accommodating with special requests. My husband and I ask for melted butter with their ballpark pretzel and they have always obliged.
Here in Cincinnati for a Convention, the portions and pricing are great, and the ambiance and lighting are nice, I like that the restaurant is built around the Brew Room, and the SERVICE is excellent!
Enjoyed the fish tacos at Rock Bottom – service was excellent. I like the ambiance better than the stuffy restaurants around the block. Beer – is their speciality. I enjoyed their RB Red Ale, it was fantastic. As for the food, I thought the fish tacos were good. The beans were delicious but the rice was the hottest rice I have ever eaten! Mix the rice and beans to cut the heat. It was a good meal though and I’ll be back.
