We went here for our anniversary and the food and experience were worth the price! When we made reservations we requested a private table and told them it was our anniversary. They delivered with a table with no one around overlooking the river. We did the Ruth’s Classic menu with salads, sides, a filet and lobster tail for me and full-sized filet for my hubby. We paid $4 extra to choose a different dessert and got the molten chocolate cake for him and bread pudding for me! It was delicious! The BLT salad was tasty. My only flaw, if anything, was that the green beans were nothing exciting, but this place was great for a special night!
Culinary perfection. Service excellence.
25th Wedding Anniversary. This was our first visit. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. As a special touch, they put rose petals on the table. Our food was delicious! Our waiter, Andrew, was awesome. He did a great job. At the end of our meal, we were served complimentary dessert which was delicious. Thank you for making our anniversary so special.
Date night was awesome. Filets that were scrumptious and a lobster tail was decadent! Service was fabulous. Will revisit soon!
Very Enjoyable Evening. My only complaint is that we were seated at the table next to the emergency exit and the door offered little resistance to the mid twenties outside temp. The women in our party had the Broadstreet Hurricane cocktail which they loved. I had a Makers and water with a generous pours. We had the barbecue shrimp appetizer that we shared and the sauce was great with the house bread. We all ordered one of the RUTH’S CLASSIC DINNERS with some substitutions. Two of us had the filet mignon; tender and cooked perfectly. One had the 6 oz filet with a couple of scallops (instead of shrimp), and both were excellent. The fourth in our party had the 12 oz ribeye that was also cooked perfectly. We each upsized the side item and there was more than enough to share. Our waitress was Angie who was very attentive and had lots of great suggestions. Will definitely go back.
Fantastic Evening!. Prime table overlooking the Banks, complete with rose petals. Cocktails were generous pours: single malt scotch for him, grey goose for me. Barbecue shrimp appetizer plenty to share and delicious. Caeser salad good – we could easily have split one. I had the surf and turf with the most tender 6 oz filet and twin lobster tails – so good. And that 500 degree plate kept it warm til the last bite. He had the strip and raved about it. We split the lobster Mac n cheese with green chilies for a nice kick. Just so so good. Service extremely attentive without being overbearing. Have been to all the steak places in town – this is definitely a Ruby contender. Forget the negative reviews – just go!
Great food just like all of the other locations that I’ve dined at throughout the years, however the service was definitely lacking to say the least. I was thoroughly disappointed with my visit to the Cincinnati location and intend to resume dining at Jeff Rubys while I’m in town. A total shame as I love dining at Ruth’s Chris in every other city with the exception of the one where I live. I’m assuming that the poor service stems from poor management. I even dined there twice just to be fair and make sure my disappointment was a fluke. Never again! Shame on you Ruth’s Chris!
