Very Disappointing Food. I visited The Sports Page for the first time today – I even mentioned this to the waitress before ordering. I ordered the goetta, egg and cheese sandwich on rye. Easy peasy – right? Unfortunately, it was too easy for the cook. The delivered product was very disappointing. Two little pieces of dry toast (no butter on it or served with it), one overdone fried egg, one piece of processed cheese (like they wrap in plastic) and one small piece of goetta. The goetta was sliced thinner than I thought possible – about the width of a piece of pinhead oatmeal! Total restaurant cost for this mess could not have exceeded 50 cents. I mean really – do they expect to get 100 sandwiches from a pound of goetta? I told the waitress the sandwich was awful and I would never be back. The old scabby legged guy at the register took a dollar off. Wow! I was embarrassed for them.

Sports page’s food is good…..but beware that they may over price you. Why do I say. I ordered a breakfast sandwich the same way three daysvin a row….the first day it wa3.15, the second day a manager told me 3.50 and then today back to 3.15…3.15 was the right price all along..cents add up, make sure you check the menu pricing!
