Just reopened. I had the Tavern Burger kept it simple to check them out. the burger was very good. the fries how ever were a bit disapointing when they were served to me. They were shoe string fries. i was expecting hand cut fries or steak fries or something like that. the fries were good as shoe string fries go. The service was good. they are not open for lunch. would i go back? sure if someone wanted to go there to check it out. or the just wanted to go there.
Not Impressed with New Owner. Very expensive not worth the food especially with that service. new ownership obviously doesn’t know how to hire a quality staff. just looking to make money off first customers. my predictions it will be closed after grand opening rush is over.
No good. Patio is tore up dinner in a construction zone poor lights on the patio
3rd Time is not a charm.. I keep getting drawn back to Chesterland Tavern because it does have a great outdoor patio but it always end the same. We go there over the course of a year and a half and 2 out of three meals are sent back everytime. There is no attention to detail in and out of the kitchen and for that I will not try it again. I suggest that you save your time and money and try any other place to eat.
The beer battered asparagus was amazing. Everything else, including service, was mediocre.
NOT MUCH TO SAY. Slow service resulted in over an hour wait for food that had no flavor. Our table chose the steak sandwich with mushroom and onion, steak chewy, mushroom just one and really nothing to celebrate and a couple barely grilled onions oh but the bun was huge. Chicken wrap same deal no flavor only chicken in a wrap. Burger …nothing special. And if your gonna call them Tavern chips shouldn’t they taste like chips and not the sole of a shoe. Service…phony politeness. A waste of time and money. Oh stop next door for a Custard Cone. Excellent!
Stay away from their holiday brunches!. We’ve been ripped off twice at their holiday brunches (Easter & Mothers Day). We ended up bringing relatives to these and each time spending in excess of $100.00 each time with reservations, only to be told that they’ve run out of prime rib & the main meats BOTH TIMES. Never offered a refund either.. just a 25.00 credit towards the next all-you-can-eat brunch. Anybody can make scambled eggs & potatoes, but even those were cold. Very poorly executed and organized. We used to frequent this place often, but these days, we go to Hunan of Chester or Cleats. Better food and value.
